The cavities in item profiles can be used as compressed-air conduits, which saves having to lay additional lines. Aluminium can also withstand the relevant pressure levels over the long term.
Pneumatic Universal-Fastening Sets are used to connect together several profiles to form a system that can convey compressed air safely and securely from a floor-level connection to a tool that is secured in an ergonomic position on a horizontal cantilever. Seals compensate for any potential irregularities, which is particularly important when end-to-end connections are involved.
Two solutions are available for making connections to tools that are powered by compressed air. The Compressed Air Manifold is anchored into a profile groove and offers three connections. Thanks to the use of standard quick-action couplings, most tools can be connected up with ease.
Pneumatic Connecting Plates and Pneumatic Connectors from item ensure that even customised solutions can be implemented without any problems. They can be used to build compressed air outlets with G1/8 or G1/4 connections at any point on a profile.
